The other great uneven theme is Outward, maybe the most ambitious and
surprising. It starts with Nathalie on the sax in a classic jazz style which in a few seconds transforms itself in a 8/8 rhythm, then 7/8 and before the first minute it has changed again to get to a more abstract interlude. The rhythmical ostinato comes back and with it the freest and most experimental improvisations of all the musicians, drummer included. Indeed, Aldridge Hansberry in this theme and all the other ones proves to be a great drummer
